In The Studio

When I put together a highlight reel of my favorite designers from the first half of New York F/W Fashion Week, Prabal Gurung was the only designer whose looks I couldn't edit down to just one row.  The Singapore-born Nepal-raised designer launched his first collection just two years ago at the FLAG Art Foundation in Chelsea, staging his first runway show last year in Bryant Park.  Already, Gurung has become a Fashion Week favorite, his garments donning the likes of Oprah, Demi Moore, and Michelle Obama to name a few.  Here are some gorgeous shots behind the curtain at his Garment District studio in NYC.
