Hair Idol: Whitney Port

Loving my new low-lights (which to be honest are super-subtle) has me all gung-ho about darker hair lately.  I'm always grumpy about how damaging maintaining blonde hair is, and I think that jumping aboard the ombré bandwagon might be a good way to go longer between touch-ups and help my hair actually grow.  Whitney Port does the look perfectly; not too much shocking contrast where the colours meet, just pretty, natural-looking gradation.

Bon Appétit

I'm about to out my inner nerd here....but as someone who eats on a more than regular basis, I love the idea of this poster of a Hobbit's daily eating schedule (oh yeah, that was a Lord Of The Rings reference) blown-up and framed in a kitchen.  Elevensies anyone?

I am seriously dying for that floral outfit.  I love a good statement.  Florals and brights, all the way.

The Art Of Kicks

When I posted this video about Sartorialist Scott Schumann, I realized that what I had loved so much about the film was seeing how he had been able to focus his career and everyday life around art and his creative processes.  In the video above the sentiment is the same, though the subject differs.  Mark Ong (aka SBTG) gives viewers an inside look, into his studio, psyche and home, as the Singaporean artist collaborates with FICE Boutique to create the "138" shoe collection.

"You just need your surroundings and you can evolve, you can build something."  Watch it.
