Pour Aimer Et Chérir

When planning a wedding, what better destination than Paris, the city of love + light?  Haussmann's beautiful metropolis played the glamourous background when David, in Ralph Lauren, and Lucy, in Vera Wang, tied to knot in these spectacular French nuptials, featured in Martha Stewart Weddings.  Relying on a simple pink + white colour palette, the couple's big day exuded elegance, grace, and flawless Parisian style.

Kate En Vogue

Kate Moss is short for a model, she has freckles, there's nothing special about her hair, she's known to party, and has a habit of being photographed without her shirt on.  And for these reasons, and many more, I adore her.  And so does Vogue Paris.  Just how many times has the top model graced the cover of the world's most important fashion magazine?  15.  13 years and 15 appearances on the front page makes one thing is clear....Kate Moss is our favorite Scandaleuse Beauté.

Vivez La Langue/Live The Language

Today I came across these fun PSAs promoting cultural immersion by the EF Live The Language campaign.  They're fantastic, the message is great, and it seems like an appropriate post on the day that one of my favorite people jets off to Paris.

Don't you just want to go EVERYWHERE?  Oh, wanderlust.

Must Have

I want a copy of this magazine!  However, given the scarcity of Vogue Paris regular issues in my city, finding a special edition is going to be a bit of a challenge...

She's Going To Paris This Year

{Yigal Azrouël Pre-Fall 2011, New York}

"She's going to Paris this year," so said Yigal Azrouël of the imagined woman for whom he designed his Pre-Fall 2011 collection.  And don't we all want to be her?  His clothes are chic in the comfortable, effortless sort of way one one wants to be dressed in the French capital - or anywhere else for that matter.  Stylish dresses and perfectly versatile separates that would seamlessly fit into any girl's wardrobe.  Je l'aime.

Winter Wanderer

{Rome}
{Paris}
{New York}

It's Friday and I can't think of anything I'd rather do less than go to work.  It's hard to drag myself in and try to power through the day, but looking forward to the things I'm saving up for makes me excited and reminds me that in the end it all pays off.  Rome in December, Paris in January and New York in February....and I am counting. down. the. days.
